The CanTeen Home Loan Appeal raises funds through the sale or refinancing of home loans (any home loan) for Young People Living With Cancer. We are proud to participate in the CanTeen Home Loan Appeal, which supports CanTeen’s many support programs nationally.
CanTeen provide their Members with a place where they can simply be young people, away from the daily pressures of living with cancer in the hospital or at home.
CanTeen provide a wide range of camps and programs designed to encourage Members to share their experiences, make great friends...and of course, have fun!

CanTeen receive a minimum 5 % of the ongoing sales commission

The shock of a cancer diagnosis can bring about a number of strong emotions for the person diagnosed, along with friends and family members. Many people think “Why is this happening, why me, what did I do wrong?” Emotions may include fear, helplessness, anger, loneliness and confusion. The diagnosis may seem unfair for you or the person diagnosed.
Recovery from these emotions will take time, and sometimes emotional recovery can take longer than physical recovery. Each individual reacts and copes in their own unique way. Some people can accept a cancer diagnosis almost immediately, while for others it may take longer for them to adapt. CanTeen provides its Members (young people) with a place where they can simply be young people – away from the adult-dominated environment of cancer hospitals and treatment regimes. Through its camps and programs, CanTeen encourages its Members to share experiences and resources, promote understanding, well-being and leadership… and have fun!
